One of the coolest attractions of Dubai is Dubailand, a huge ongoing project that will feature a collection of theme parks, sports facilities, communities and business areas, cultural and educational facilities, and much more. Dubailand is expected to cover an area in central Dubai along Emirates Road, further expanding the rapidly growing city. Dubailand is projected to be twice the size of Walt Disney World, and will have the largest collection of theme parks in the world.

Aqua Dunya at Dubailand covers 8 million square feet, that features a gigantic water theme park with thrilling wet and dry rides, water shows, aquariums, and a resort. Additionally, Aqua Dunya includes manmade beach and reef with a collection of tropical fish, dolphins, sharks, desert pearl water show and theater, cruise shaped resort with about 400 rooms, and port district souk, or market.

Legends Dubailand will cover 24.7 million square feet and will be a leisure and cultural development consisting of three main theme parks, resorts, leisure complex and a golf course, all designed with Arabic themes. The theme parks will be Arabia Theme Park, Nature Theme Park, and World Theme Park.

Falcon City Of Wonders will include cultural facilities with structures based on popular sites and architectural marvels of the world, such as Pyramids, Hanging gardens of Babylon, Eiffel Tower of Paris, leaning tower of Pisa, and Taj Mahal. The complex will cover an area of 4 million square feet and will be shaped to depict a falcon, the symbol of United Arab Emirates. Additionally, the Falcon City Of Wonders will include Pharaohs Theme Park with knuckle rides and roller coasters.

Spread over 3.48 million square feet in central Dubai, The Great Dubai Wheel will be one of the largest of its kind in the world, surpassing the London Eye. During the exciting ride on the wheel, visitors will have panoramic views of up to 50 kilometers (29 miles), including all of Dubai and the Arabian and Persian Gulf. The Great Dubai Wheel includes observatory wheel, Ferris Wheel, and service retail.

Dubailand will include many more theme park attractions such as by famous companies Lego Land, Six Flags, Dream Works, Universal Studios, and many more.

Dubailand offers an array of cultural and entertainment facilities in several sections, allowing visitors to relax, and learn about the local area and the rest of the world.

Spread over 14.2 million square feet, Al Barari is a habitat of plants, desert vegetation and gardens from around the world, all surrounded by beautiful lakes and spice meadows. The area includes a spa using natural medicine and modern therapies for a unique treatment. The Al Barari will also include a cultural amphitheater, botanical gardens leisure park, life style retail center.

The Islamic Culture & Science World at Dubailand captures the true essence of traditional Islamic marketplaces with its unique architectural design. Attractions at this area include Islamic and World Science Museum and Centre, 3D Theatre, cultural centre, external exhibition area, outdoor theatre, and hotel complex.

Dubailand's Taaleem Beacon Education includes early childhood facilities, primary school, two secondary schools, high school and junior college. The schools will offer day and boarding placements and will include youth hostel to accommodate visiting students. Recreational facilities include multipurpose sports hall, and auditorium.

Al Sahra is a unique desert resort covering 40 million square feet of sand dunes. The five star Jumana is a world class extravagenza with spectacular light, laser, sound and pyrotechnics effects, staged in an imposing 1,200 seat amphitheatre built in style of an ancient Arabic settlement. Al Sahra Desert Resort offers restaurants, traditional souk with local arts and crafts, luxury tented lodges and boutique hotel. Restrauants include Arabesque, The Fig & Date Coffee Shop, Lahab BBQ, King Othman's Lounge, Oasis Garden picnic area.
